We're more than a gym. We're a community.

The West Suburban YMCA is a nonprofit organization committed to helping you thrive at each stage of life. We're passionate about nurturing the potential of kids, helping people live healthier, and supporting our neighbors. We serve the communities of Newton, Watertown, Belmont, Weston, and Wellesley.

ALL are welcome at the Y, and our community brings together people of all abilities, ages, ethnicities, financial circumstances, genders, races, religions, and sexual orientations.

The West Suburban YMCA accepts nationwide reciprocity with a usage limitation of 4 visits to either of our facilities in a calendar month. If visits exceed that number in the same month, the Nationwide Member will need to purchase a guest pass for $15. Welcome, and thank you for visiting the West Suburban YMCA.

The Nationwide Membership Program enables you to visit any participating YMCA in the United States through membership at your home YMCA. We offer this because we want to help you reach your health and wellness goals wherever you live, work or travel. This is an essential part of our mission to strengthen communities.

Please note, many YMCAs across the country may not be open to their full capacity, and safety regulations vary significantly in each community. If you plan to visit a YMCA that is not your home Y, it is recommended that you confirm policies at each facility in advance of arrival.

Our policies have been made with consideration of ALL the populations we serve. We ask that all members demonstrate the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility towards each other and our dedicated staff team.
