Registration

Prior to utilizing Kids’ Corner, parents are required to complete a registration and emergency form. Daily fees for Individual Members must be paid at the Welcome Center before entering Kids’ Corner.

Drop-off

Parents will need to remain in the designated drop-off and pick-up area, while one of our trained Kid’s Corner staff assists you with a smooth drop-off. Please note, parents must remain on the YMCA property while their child is in Kids’ Corner.

Kids’ Corner Location

Kids’ Corner is held inside in our indoor Kids’ Corner play area. Please check-in at the Welcome Center when you arrive.

Length of Stay

Children are welcome to stay in Kids’ Corner for up to 90 minutes. There is a $5 late fee if parents are late picking up their child. Parents will be notified immediately if their child soils their clothing or is inconsolable.

Activities

In Kids’ Corner, children will participate in games, arts and crafts, and choose to play with one of our many individual child activity kits.

Snacks and Personal Belongings

Snacks or personal belongings from home will not be permitted. A water bottle, labeled with the child’s first and last name, is recommended.

Capacity

To facilitate activities that are safely distanced, well supervised, and encourage meaningful play experiences, the capacity for Kids’ Corner will be for up to 5 children to 1 staff member at a time.

Illness Policy

Please conduct a health screening of your child prior to leaving your home and do not bring your child to the WSY if he or she is sick or contagious. If your child is not well enough to attend school, please refrain from bringing them to Kids' Corner. If a child displays symptoms of illness or becomes ill while at Kids’ Corner, a staff member will immediately locate the parent/guardian.
