Exercise is a foundational habit for good health. This course will detail the components of a healthy exercise program for the older adult. During this one-hour course, we will discuss the roles of strengthening exercises, cardiovascular exercise, balance exercise, and flexibility exercises in promoting health and longevity. Participants will learn the benefits each type of exercise offers and how to implement a personalized exercise program. Presented by Jakob Hildebrandt in Studio A at the Church St Y.
