The West Suburban YMCA (WSYMCA) celebrated a successful Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, drawing an impressive crowd of approximately 200 families from the surrounding community. The event showcased the vibrant spirit of community engagement and support that defines the West Suburban YMCA.

Attendees were treated to an afternoon of fall-themed festivities, including a petting zoo, inflatable obstacle course, a captivating roaming juggler, face painting, bubble experiments, and an exciting sandbox treasure hunt. Highlights also included a thrilling "mad scientist" presentation and free henna art, making for an unforgettable experience for all ages.  A full photo album can be viewed on Facebook, here.

In appreciation of the community's participation, the first 200 families received complimentary canvas tote bags, and everyone enjoyed free snacks, including candy apples and popcorn. These offerings contributed to the warm and inviting atmosphere that characterized the festival.

The success of this year’s event was further enhanced by the support of local community organizations, including Newton Community Farm. Their participation underscored the importance of collaboration and shared values within the community, enriching the festival experience for attendees.

Jack Fucci, President and CEO of the WSYMCA, expressed his gratitude for the enthusiastic turnout and the invaluable support from local partners. “The Fall Festival exemplifies our commitment to fostering community connections. We are thrilled to see so many families come together to celebrate the season and engage in meaningful activities. The collaborative spirit of local organizations truly made this event a success.”

The festival garnered attention from local media, with NewTV on-site to capture the excitement and interview Fucci, further highlighting the positive impact of community events at the YMCA. As we look to the future, the West Suburban YMCA is excited to continue this cherished tradition and strengthen community ties through upcoming events.
