Together, We Grew for Good: Y Day of Giving Raises Over $18,000 for Vital Community Programs
🌱 We truly felt the love during this year’s Y Day of Giving — the energy, generosity, and community spirit were alive at both our Church Street and Wells Ave locations! Thanks to 212 incredible donors, we raised an inspiring $18,886 in support of programs that make a real difference in people’s lives.
Our goal was to raise $10,000 at each branch, and we came so close — a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together for good.
From heartwarming child-created art auction bids, to pickleball tournament games, to dancing for a cause, every moment added up to something much bigger: supporting two of our most impactful programs.
✨ Childcare Financial Aid, ensuring access to high-quality preschool and Out-of-School Time programs for families who need it most.
✨ LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a free 12-week program that empowers cancer survivors to rebuild strength, confidence, and community.
