Summer 2027 Camp Registration Opens Soon
It may feel like summer just ended, but now is the time to start planning for Summer 2027 at the West Suburban YMCA! From traditional day camps and overnight adventures to leadership development and family camp experiences, we offer programs that help children build confidence, friendships, independence, and memories that last a lifetime.
Whether your child is returning to camp or joining us for the first time, we encourage families to mark their calendars and register early.
Important Registration Dates
- November 2, 2026 at 10:00 AM: Overnight Camp Registration Opens and Family Camp Registration Opens
- December 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM: Day Camp Registration for Returning Camp Families
- December 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM: Day Camp Open Registration Begins

YMCA Camp Frank A. Day® (Overnight Camp)
Located on beautiful Quacumquasit Pond in East Brookfield, MA, YMCA Camp Frank A. Day® has been creating unforgettable summer experiences since 1916. Campers enjoy swimming, kayaking, arts and crafts, campfires, outdoor adventures, and lifelong friendships while developing confidence, independence, and leadership skills.
YMCA Camp Pikati (Day Camp)
Located at our Church Street branch, YMCA Camp Pikati provides a fun-filled summer packed with swimming, sports, creative activities, special events, and weekly field trips for eligible age groups. Campers enjoy the benefits of a full YMCA facility while building friendships and trying new experiences.
YMCA Camp Wells (Day Camp)
Set on our Wells Avenue campus, YMCA Camp Wells offers outdoor adventure with activities including archery, sports, arts and crafts, water play, and more. Campers take advantage of unique camp features while enjoying a summer of exploration, growth, and fun.
YMCA Camp Chickami (Day Camp)
A beloved YMCA tradition since 1955, YMCA Camp Chickami provides a classic outdoor camp experience. Campers spend their days making friends, developing new skills, and creating memories.
Leaders in Training (LIT) Programs
Our Leaders in Training programs help teens develop leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and communication skills while gaining hands-on camp experience. Available at both our day and overnight camps, LIT programs are designed to prepare future counselors and community leaders.
Family Camp Weekend
Experience camp as a family at YMCA Camp Frank A. Day®. Family Camp offers a chance to unplug, connect, and create lasting memories together through campfires, canoeing, swimming, archery, arts and crafts, family games, and more, all in a beautiful lakeside setting.
