School Closure Programs for Newton Schools at the Y

Newton schools closed in January for several days due to the Newton Teacher's Association strike. In an effort to support families in our community during the closure, our Childcare Department offered a full day childcare program. Each day from 8:30am to 4pm the children in attendance enjoyed an enriching program that included crafts, sports, and quality time with friends old and new. We are proud that we provided this service to families during challenging times.
