March Madness Teen Night Brings Excitement to the Wells Ave Y

March Madness Teen Night Brings Excitement to the Wells Ave Y
The energy was high, the competition was fierce, and the fun lasted late into the night at the West Suburban YMCA’s March Madness Teen Night on March 21! Over 55 teens joined us at the Wells Ave Y for an unforgettable evening of basketball, games, and great company—with many staying right until the very end.
Teens gathered in the Teen Center to watch the opening round of March Madness, snack on pizza, and challenge friends to Ping Pong, Pool, Skeeball, and classic arcade games. Meanwhile, the gym was buzzing with pickup basketball games and free play, keeping the excitement going all night long.
One of the biggest highlights of the event was the raffle for two tickets to the NCAA Men’s Championship Second Round game in Providence. When the winner was announced, cheers erupted as attendees celebrated and congratulated their lucky friend—a true March Madness moment!
A huge thank you to Needham Bank, whose generous support makes it possible for the Teen Center at Wells Ave to be a welcoming space for middle and high school students to connect, play, and have fun year-round.
With such an incredible turnout and enthusiasm, we can’t wait for the next teen night at the Y! Stay tuned for more exciting events, and we’ll see you back at the Teen Center soon!
