For Amy and Dan Fabiano, the West Suburban YMCA has become much more than a place for programs and activities — it has become an important part of their family’s everyday life and community.

“The Y is such a meaningful place for our family,” Amy and Dan shared.

Over the years, their family has built strong connections through a wide variety of YMCA programs that have supported both their children’s growth and their family’s sense of belonging.

From preschool classrooms to summer camps, sports, and family programming, the YMCA has created opportunities for friendships, learning, and memorable experiences for every member of the Fabiano family.

Growing Through YMCA Programs

Their son Miles began building friendships through the YMCA Preschool Program while also participating in Little Kickers Soccer and swim lessons. Their daughter Nora has found connection and confidence through OST, Pikati, Chickami, Kids’ Night Out, and the Blue Waves Swim Team.

“From Miles’ preschool friends and teachers at the Y preschool program, to Nora’s OST, Pikati, and Chickami friends and counselors, to Kids’ Night Out programs for Nora — such a nice change of pace for our family on Friday nights — the Y has impacted so many parts of our lives,” they shared.

For the Fabianos, these programs have offered more than activities — they have created meaningful relationships, trusted support systems, and opportunities for their children to grow in a welcoming and caring environment.

Supporting a Community That Gives So Much

Because of the impact the YMCA has had on their family, Amy and Dan are proud to give back and help ensure other families can have similar experiences.

“We are happy and proud to support an organization that makes such a difference in our family’s life and in the community,” they shared.

Their generosity helps make YMCA programs and services accessible to children and families throughout the community, regardless of financial circumstance.

Looking Ahead

The Fabiano family looks forward to continuing their involvement with the YMCA for many years to come — both as active participants and dedicated supporters.

“We look forward to continuing to not only engage in YMCA programs but also donate generously for years to come,” they shared.

The West Suburban YMCA is grateful for families like Amy and Dan Fabiano whose continued support helps strengthen our community and ensures every child and family has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
