Blue Waves Swim Team Tryouts
Want to make some waves this fall? Our Blue Waves Swim Team is hosting tryouts for the 2026-27 Fall/Winter season. Tryouts are FREE for WSY members and $5 for community members - feel free to share the link with family and friends!
Tryouts will be held September 1-3 from 5-7pm at the Church St WSY Big Pool. All tryouts will consist of a half hour session and we will ask swimmers to attempt all four competition strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly) as well as a flip turn and a dive. These skills do not need to be perfect to join the team, we just want to see your athlete's best effort!
At the end of the tryout, you will receive information on your athlete's practice group if they make the team, as well as registration and pricing information. You will also have time to ask any questions about the team in person at the conclusion of the tryout.
