📚 Join us for thoughtful conversation, good company, and a light lunch! 

The West Suburban YMCA Book Club is open to members of all ages who enjoy diving into compelling stories and sharing perspectives. Each monthly meetup includes a casual discussion, light lunch, and refreshments. Whether you’ve read the book in full or are just curious to learn more, all are welcome!

"Spectacular Things" by Beck Dorey-Stein

This heartfelt novel explores the complex relationship between two sisters, Mia and Cricket, as they pursue their dreams while carrying the weight of family expectations and secrets. Set in a small Maine town, Spectacular Things is a moving portrait of love, ambition, and the ties that bind us.

"Broken Country" by Clare Leslie Hall

Broken Country spans two pivotal timelines—1955 and 1968—following Beth, a woman whose peaceful life is disrupted by the return of her first love, Gabriel Wolfe. As past and present collide, Beth must face the emotional consequences of long-ago choices and the tragic events that still haunt her village.
