Join us for Y Day of Giving, a special day dedicated to supporting the West Suburban YMCA’s mission of strengthening our community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for all. Every donation makes a difference—helping families access affordable childcare, providing scholarships for summer camp, supporting cancer survivors through our LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program, and so much more.
Make an impact on the Y Day of Giving! April 8th is one of our biggest giving days of the year! We are working to raise $20,000 on this year's Y Day of Giving, and we need your help! The Y is special because a core part of our mission is social responsibility for all. Tax-deductible charitable donations ensure that we can offer financial aid and innovative programs that enable all to have access to our community. These gifts are a critical part of our formula and complement program and membership fees.
Here's how you can make a difference:
April 1st-8th: Childcare Art Auction- Bid on a beautiful piece of art made by our preschool and Out-of-School-Time students to benefit financial aid.
April 4th: Dance for a Cause to benefit Livestrong at the YMCA at the Wells Ave Y
April 8th: Donate in person at either branch or online or attend the Dink for a Cause Pickleball tournament at the Wells Ave Y
Whether you visit us in person at the Church Street or Wells Avenue branches or donate online, your generosity fuels life-changing programs for kids, teens, adults, and seniors in our community.
