Blue Waves Swim Team Tryouts
Want to make some waves this fall? Our Blue Waves Swim Team is hosting tryouts for the 2025-26 Fall/Winter season. Tryouts are FREE for WSY members and $10 for community members - feel free to share the link with family and friends!
Each NEW athlete is required to sign up for ONE half hour slot. If you were on the team during the Fall/Winter 2025-2026 season, you will receive a separate email with group assignments and registration links.
Tryouts for the Spring will be held 3/30-4/2 from 5-7pm at the Church St WSY Big Pool. All tryouts will consist of a half hour session and we will ask swimmers to attempt all four competition strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly) as well as a flip turn and a dive. These skills do not need to be perfect to join the team, we just want to see your athlete's best effort!
At the end of the tryout, you will receive information on your athlete's practice group if they make the team, as well as registration and pricing information. You will also have time to ask any questions about the team in person at the conclusion of the tryout.
